Morning Grace: Finding God In Rest

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
– Matthew 11:28

Rest is a gift, but how often do we truly receive it? Between work, family, and everyday responsibilities, slowing down can feel impossible. But Jesus calls us to come to Him—not just for strength to keep going, but for real, soul-refreshing rest.

Faith & Food Pairing:
• Spiritual Nourishment: This week, I challenge you to make space for rest—not just physical rest, but time with Jesus. Let Him refresh your heart the way a quiet morning and a warm drink refresh your body.
• Physical Nourishment: Sip on my Golden Honey Latte—a soothing blend of warm spices and creamy goodness to help you slow down and embrace God's peace.

Recipe: Golden Honey Latte
1. Heat 1 cup milk (or your favorite dairy-free option).
2. Stir in 1 tsp honey, ½ tsp cinnamon, and a dash of nutmeg.
3. Froth or whisk until creamy, then pour into your favorite mug.
4. Sip slowly, breathe deeply, and thank God for His rest.

Reflection Question: Where in your life do you need to surrender busyness and receive God's rest?

This weekend, let's practice resting in Him—whether it's through prayer, journaling, or simply enjoying a slow morning with something warm and homemade. Comment and tell me: How will you rest in His presence today?

P.S. If this blessed you, share it with a friend who needs a reminder to slow down and rest in God's goodness!
